Our Vision

Our long cherished vision is to transform peoples’ lives into God’s permanent habitation; demonstrate His love by undertaking activities that enrich and benefit the community; and allow His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, deal with every need, sickness, bondage, or anxiety in their lives.

Vision Bearers

These are, Severino Okoya Kiberu, and Professor Isaac Newton Ojok.
Severino Okoya Kiberu, a peasant of Bungatira, Gulu, in Northern Uganda, is an anointed servant whom God called to serve in 1948 as High Priest and Prophet. On 11th 1984, he lost his life in dreadful circumstances and went to heaven from where the Lord God richly endowed him with the power of the Holy Spirit to return and build the Kingdom. Upon return, however, he did not have a smooth ride. Okoya suffered untold hardships in the tribulations that blighted the nation of Uganda for over two decades. He became a jailbird and it was not until 1992 that he regained the freedom to lay the foundation of the New Jerusalem Tabernacle. He built this Church from heaven at Kony Paco, Gulu, in Northern Uganda in the same year and began full-scale work of ministry. The Church is better known as Meltar, this being the new name of Jesus Christ that the latter, as per Revelation 2: 17, revealed to his servant, Okoya, the day he visited heaven.

Professor Isaac Newton Ojok, a University don and former Cabinet Minister of Education in Obote II Administration, is an anointed servant whom God called in 1987, in the tribulations, to serve as an Apostle and Prophet. He equally suffered untold hardships; was arrested and detained by the military in Luzira Prison for seven years; and was sentenced to death in 1991, allegedly for treason. By the grace of God, however, the Uganda High Court acquitted him of all charges of treason on 17th January, 1994. Whilst in prison, the Lord linked him with Okoya in1990; revealed to him the New Jerusalem Tabernacle in 1992, and commissioned the duo to found this ministry. Later, as per Jeremiah 1: 4-5, the Lord sent Professor Ojok to the nations as Ambassador of Peace and enabled him to establish a branch of the ministry in the UK in the year 2003.
